We can ensure you that our team are genuinely dog lovers and the centre is run by a trained veterinary nurse so you can rest assured that your dog will be in the best hands. We are fully insured and have a 5 Star License with South Gloucester Council N.O TS/0016/ANBOR.
Why choose Pawstretchers?
Our service is great and can be used regularly for those who work long hours or consistent hours, or who have a regular schedule of commitments. Puppies and high energy dogs benefit from doggie daycare, as do most other dogs. Dogs benefit from a change of scenery and routine, it helps them prevent loneliness and boredom especially if your dog is used to being on their own for long periods of time. We find that most of our dogs love coming to our centre and can’t wait to get through the door that they do not even look back at their owners.
We pride ourselves on our personal services as all dogs received affection from all of our team, play with other dogs allowing them to develop a better relationship with both humans and other dogs.
One of the benefits of sending your dog to us is that you will feel more relaxed and at ease, at the fact, there will be a reduction of guilt felt from leaving your dog long hours as well as more time to get things done due to decreased exercise requirements from your dog.
A usual day in the life at Pawstrecthers Day Care:
The drop off times is between 7-9 am. We find that this allows all owners to drop off their dogs at a time convenient for them.
The dogs run around and play with their friends until they are tired which then we make sure we allow time for an afternoon nap for an hour or so. There are sofas and beds for them to sleep on a lovely wood burning stove for them to lie by in the colder months and air conditions and air coolers are used in the heat to ensure the dog’s comfort. We even have a TV so that all the dogs can watch their favourite shows!
They have free rein of the daycare centre and can play with all their friends until pick up time which is between 3.30-6 pm.
We do ask that your dog gets on well with other dogs as all the dogs at the centre are extremely friendly and mix with each other. Also, we ask that male dogs must be castrated from the age of 6 months old and unfortunately we can not take dogs in when they are in season.
Below are some questions you should ask yourself when considering a doggy daycare centre:
Do your dog’s high energy levels leave you exhausted?
Do you work long hours and worry that your dog doesn’t get enough exercise or attention?
Does your dog get in the way when the painters, plumbers or decorators arrive?
Is your dog anxious when left alone?
Do you feel guilty going shopping and leaving your dog alone at home?
